2011 Casas Patronales Reserva Privada Carmenere
A shinning example of Chile’s grape, Carmenere. Glass coating, staining, opaque and a velvety purple hue. It is a deep and full wine experience that oozes plums, tobacco and classic Carmenere spice notes. At 6 years old this wine is hitting its stride. The ripe tannins will melt in your mouth and give way to an expressive wine filled with black fruit and exotic spice backed by complex layers of toast and French oak.
