2011 Casas Patronales Reserva Privada Cabernet Sauvignon
Rich and impressive. An excellent example of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon! It is varietally correct and intriguing with a long finish. Smooth, ripe, rich and intense. Filled with black current and hints of dried fruit. The tannins are assertive but well integrated and softening. The wine is long and layered and great with red meat. A good aerating decant would be beneficial. At 6 years old this Cabernet is drinking wonderfully. Enjoy now or over the next 3 years.
