2010 Terrunyo Pirque Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep and dark in the glass with heavy staining and coating. The bouquet is broad and ripe, loaded with dark fruit, herbs, cedar, mocha and a hints of chopped jalapeño.
This is an opulent and expressive Cabernet. The silky palate is soothing, rich and concentrated with a long finish. There is good structure and some muscle with a fresh acidity and deep seated layer of black fruit, cedar and pencil shavings.
A pleasing wine for any enthusiast of big reds.
